FRESHENING UP OUR MCMINNVILLE OREGON OPERATIONS

We’ve been implementing COVID-19 safety procedures and protocols throughout our operations in an effort to stop the spread, to keep our people and our communities safe and healthy. Recently we also added a few new tools and freshened up the mill. PLUS, while we’re keeping up our social distancing, we created a virtual tour of the mill (vid is below)!

Perhaps most noticeable to our McMinnville, Oregon town is our new-to-us dust collection system. We couldn’t resist giving it a fresh coat of paint in ‘pioneer green’. Standing approximately 40′ tall, the tower portion is one of the tallest structures in the community. Our sawdust scraps are collected and reused for animal bedding and/or repurposed into pellets for pellet stoves.

We’ve also added a Weinig moulder, expanding the capabilities and efficiency with which our teams can produce flooring and paneling.

The yard also got a facelift during regular inventory with some additional sorting and categorizing taking place.
