The lake house is positioned on a point, known to Finger Lakes, NY locals as Allen’s Point. Our sister company, New Energy Works, designed and built the home which makes the most of the 180-degree sweeping lake views and indoor/outdoor living.

Matching function with cottage-living style, the common areas of the home feature  Modern Farmhouse Clean White Oak flooring with a custom UV Oil finish. The durable and familiar species in 6-8″ fresh-sawn planks flow across the open floorplan throughout the lower level, threading the living and dining rooms to the kitchen, and bordering tile in the hallway to the main entry.

Stair treads crafted from the same Oak ease the transition from one level to the next where the wood continues along the upper hallway and into the guest bedrooms.

Throughout the home, custom-crafted Walnut pieces from NEWwoodworks, our sister company’s fine woodworking division–include the main entry door, a credenza, a built-in wine bar, entertainment units, laundry cabinets, and more–unifying the common area decor.

In the upper level, the wood flooring and cabinetry swap; the rich tones of Modern Farmhouse Clean Walnut define the master suite floor while bright-toned Hickory vanities and dressers nestle atop it.

Mixed with areas of stone, highlights of timber, fun tile backsplashes, and feature walls of shiplap, Pioneer Millworks sustainable wood material flows through the house bringing consistency that unites the public and private spaces.
